Heartlanta Journal is an independent media source that serves as a softer protest against loneliness and rejection.

Here, we talk to the creative hearts of Atlanta.
We want to dance, barter, argue, interview, laugh, and cry.
We document the city not as content, but as connection.

From the Founder

“There’s a quiet kind of loneliness that comes from fading into the background of your own life.
Somewhere between COVID, constant bad news, and endless scrolling, I decided I wanted to see a better world.

So I went outside to meet and write about the people that inspire us. I wanted to live a better life with community.

I don’t want to continue pessimism.
I want to build a space where all of our dreams can exist out loud. It’s quite corny to write out these thoughts, but it’s much more annoying to live mildly.

I want to see the wild, fun, sad, annoyed, etc perspectives that comes from a city with a lot of emotions.”

With love,
Bam
