Heartlanta Journal is an independent media source that serves to create genuine connection to the community here in Atlanta.

It is a softer protest against loneliness and rejection.

Here, we talk to the creative hearts of Atlanta.
We want to dance, barter, argue, interview, laugh, and cry.
We document the city not only as content, but as connection, as we intend to befriend the city.

From the Founder

There’s a quiet kind of loneliness that comes from fading into the background of your own life.
Somewhere between COVID, constant bad news, and endless scrolling, I decided I wanted to see a better world.

So I went outside to meet and write about the people that inspire me. I want to live a better life with my creative community.

I wanted to build a space where people can be themselves and have fun while showcasing how they contribute to ATL and its culture.

I want to see the wild, fun, sad, annoyed perspectives that comes from a city with a lot of emotions.
